Cake Wallet exchanges
If you would like to exchange cryptocurrencies, then you can use Cake Wallet’s built-in exchange. We show examples below converting Bitcoin (BTC) and Monero (XMR), but it works for many other assets as well! Exchange services are provided third parties.
Step 1
Go to the balance screen and tap on the “Exchange” button. Choose your desired currencies under “Convert from” and “Convert to”, by tapping on the abbreviation with a dropdown arrow to the right.
Step 2
Input the receiving address (using the paste button, scanning QR code, or using Address book). We use your current BTC or XMR wallet address as the refund address. Then enter an amount. You can send all available funds from your wallet by pressing the “All” button. Check that all of the filled-in information is correct, and press “Exchange”. On the next screen, you will see the Trade ID. Please copy or save the Trade ID.
Step 3
To confirm the trade, press “Confirm”. After that, you will see the trade details screen. You can track the status of the exchange there. The status will display “Finished” when an exchange has been completed. You can also tap “Track” to track your trade with the provided link. You can always come back to this screen by swiping to the right of your balance, and tapping on the exchange in your Transaction History.

Cake Wallet’s exchange providers support dozens of different cryptocurrency pairs. Each pair is subject to availability and occasional maintenance. For additional pairs, please visit Monero.com.
